The r.LiNK interface allows to connect a rear-view camera and two additional video-sources (e.g. DVD-player, DVB-T tuner, ...) to the factory-infotainment system.

Limitations
| Video only |
The interface inserts ONLY video signals into the infotainment. For audio insertion a factory audio-AUX input or FM-modulator is required. For AUX option coding we offer OBD-N45-X-01. |
| Factory media interface |
If available, its AUX cable with 3.5mm jack (available at MB), can be used for audio insertion. While used for audio insertion, the Apple adapter or USB adapter cannot be used simultaneously. |
| Factory rear-view camera |
Automatic switch-back from inserted video to factory rear-view camera only while reverse gear is engaged. To delay the switchback time, additional electronics is required. |
| PDC and guidelines |
If the video interface does not receive the required information from the vehicle CAN-bus, neither guide-lines nor optical PDC display will be supported. |

The driver must not be distracted by moving pictures while driving. In most countries/states this is prohibited by law. While the vehicle is moving, this product should only be used to display rear-view-camera pictures or fixed menus like a MP3 menu from a DVD-player.
