r.LiNK interface compatible BMW NBT, HSD+2, APIX
The r.LiNK interface allows to connect a rear-view camera and two additional video-sources (e.g. DVD-player, DVB-T tuner, ...) to the factory-infotainment system.

Limitations

The interface inserts ONLY video signals into the infotainment. For sound use the factory-audio-AUX-input or a FM-modulator. |

Automatic switch-back from inserted video to factory rear-view camera only while reverse gear is engaged. To delay the switch-back time, additional electronics is required. |

The driver must not be distracted by moving pictures. By law, watching moving pictures while driving is prohibited. This Interface should only be used to display fixed menus or rear-view-cam pictures when the vehicle is moving, for example the MP3 menu for DV upgrades.
